The painting depicts the bell tower of the Nikolo-Berlyukovsky Monastery, located on the outskirts of the village of Avdotino, Bogorodsk Urban District (formerly Noginsk District), Moscow Region, on the left bank of the Vori River (a tributary of the Klyazma River), 42 kilometers northeast of Moscow.
