Again, to Grandma

Each of us has a place where we were brought up when we were little kids, or even where we were born. This is Grandmas house. Even if its an apartment in a prefabricated house, it was still called a house.
This place usually becomes your “own”, special place. This is the first, basic element of the concept of "homeland". We used to go out into the big world from here. At first, little by little, not far from the gate, then further and further, until we left it to build our adult lives.
And we are drawn here, we remember this house as it was then – not yet crooked, well-groomed, with fresh paint on the walls. With beautiful flower beds under the windows. And with a feeling of warmth from the soul of a dear, dear person – a grandmother. The garden is still without this ugly modern metal fence. We come here feeling more like guests, but our eyes are inquisitively searching for what has been preserved as it was then. We notice changes – here it is askew, and here the paint is peeling. And the old apple tree is already completely withered; its time to cut it down. And... my beloved grandmother has already gone, forever.
But the memory of his childhood keeps him big and beautiful. Im going to push open the gate, run down the path and into the house. And there she is....
The author depicted his wifes grandmothers house as she remembered it. He tried to reflect not only the visual, but her feelings, which he caught while listening to stories about the house, about her grandmother, about childhood and youth.
