SHICHKO ELENA, 24.01.1976, Plase of birth: MINSK, BELARUS.

Live in Belarus, Minsk

I would describe my creative style as romantic fantasy realism. This is object art, where realistic objects can be correctly depicted in a conditional newly composed decorative environment, where their own laws of construction of space and perspective can dominate, flat backgrounds can prevail. I prefer rich bright cheerful colors, rich textures. I work with oil and acrylic paints on canvas.

2001-2004 -PhD student at the Institute of Art Criticism, Ethnography and Folklore of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus.
