Worsleya procera watercolor botanical illustration

I painted this flower especially for the exhibition of botanical art «Exotic flowers» at The Botanic Gardens of Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia. This painting participated in the exposition from 06/02/2021 to 08/31/2021.

The homeland of this flower is tropical Brazil, but it is also grown as an indoor flower, although not all growers manage to cope with it. The genus is represented by only one representative - worsleya procera, which is sometimes also called blue amaryllis.

This detailed realistic illustration is an original one of a kind hand drawn artwork. It was done with lightfast professional watercolors on archival acid free watercolor paper (extra white hot pressed Saunders Waterford 300 gsm)

Painting is ideal for a home decor or it will be a perfect gift to botanical art lovers.

It will be packaged carefully to ensure a safe shipping. It is sent to you in a plastic sleeve and shipped flat inside a sturdy cardboard envelope. It will be shipped by standard Russian Mail with a tracking number. Other options of shipping is also possible but it will be more expensive.
