Aechmea nudicaulis botanical art

I painted this archaea especially for the exhibition of botanical art «Orchids and bromeliads» organized by SABA (Society of Artists of Botanical Art), The Botanic Gardens of Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia. This painting participated in the exhibition from December 18, 2020 to February 19, 2021. Aechmea nudicaulis is a bromeliad species in the genus Aechmea, which is often used as an ornamental plant. I liked it for the unusual shape and color.
