Fantasy

The painting "Fantasy" (from the "Russian Village" series) was painted in 2019 using Ladoga oil paints from Nevskaya Palitra on canvas. The canvas is primed and made of linen and is produced in Gavrilov-Yam, Yaroslavl Oblast. The canvas is stretched on a 50 x 100 cm stretcher. This is a unique, original piece.
The painting depicts the fate of the Russian village. Even during the Soviet era, the population began to migrate from villages and hamlets to the city. Living and working in the villages became unprestigious.
