I have long wanted to try to paint a picture where white is the predominant color, and the form would have to be built with very gentle shades.
A suitable subject was found, as often happens, by accident. Rummaging through old things, I found a photo that was taken right on the wedding day.
This is it! - I thought. - it will be difficult to find somewhere more white color than at weddings.
I was also fascinated by the expression on the face of the bride. It seemed to say "What have I done."
When I found out that this photo is about 50 years old, I actually remembered who is depicted on it. I met her. This lost gaze has remained with her to this day. She still lives with her husband, now out of habit. Often crying.
