The vast majority of artists live in cities. This is understandable, since cities are where the viewers and consumers of their work are. But I believe artists are inspired by nature. Convince me if Im wrong. Another work about the secrets and mysteries lurking beyond the bustling city. Its arguable that its no coincidence that landscape has emerged as a distinct genre of fine art. And Russian artists in this genre have set the bar very, very high.
