I often think about the flow of time. I have been observing global changes in the world over the past 30 years. Humanity has accelerated to a breakneck speed and every year the speed is increasing. I want to contemplate the moments of life and stop the frantic race in my paintings. I paint my paintings so that the viewer feels peace and joy when looking at them.
