Biography

Daniel was born in Russia in 1996 in one of the biggest cultural cities of the world – Saint Petersburg. Growing up under a great influence of history and classical art as well as modern technologies and styles, his own vision of art appeared.

During his early ages, he was going to a local art school, where he developed his initial skills in different art lines. Daniel is a strong self-taught artist now. Being a spacecraft engineer, as well as a painter, he is successfully using logic and technological knowledge to develop his artistic taste and skills. He is trying to achieve the best of the great painters of the 19-th century. Aivazovsky, Shishkin, Levitan and many other Russian and European painters from the past are his inspiration and mentors.

Daniel's art is a fusion of classical techniques and modern ideas with engineering achievements, which shows our modern world not as a graveyard of history and stagnant images but as a living world with its own history and uniqueness. Daniel pays most of his attention to the light and air, trying to show the vastness and depth of the surrounding world, which he thinks is not being noticed well enough today, and its nexus between pure nature and advanced technologies.
