The spring flood

In this piece, I poured my heart into capturing the delicate balance between realism and impressionism. The oil medium allowed me to breathe life into the quiet unfolding of nature’s spring flood. I wanted to convey the serene power and subtle transformation of the landscape, inviting you to feel the calm yet unstoppable energy that floods the earth, filling your space with renewal and peaceful reflection.
In the spring in April, when the snow melts, the rivers overflow and form a flood. The trees stand in tea-colored water from last years leaves. This simplicity and beauty of spring of penetrating light, reflexes, a beaver will suddenly float past you in the water or butterflies will fly by rejoicing in the warm sun.
