View on Pontikonisi

One of the favorite places among tourists in Corfu is the mouse island. This place may have been the prototype of the painting by the artist Arnold Boecklin - "Island of the Dead". I painted a full-scale sketch trying to capture the most delicate nuances of the play of color and light.
