Surf

The rocky coast near Alushta, where I worked as a cult organizer at the MPEI student camp in the summer and painted sketches in my free time, really inspired me. The color of the stones is always different and the play of textures is subtle and lively, the changeable color and fluidity of the water is so beautiful to look at. In creating this piece, I was moved by the raw beauty of the seaside landscape. Through impressionistic strokes and the layered textures of oil paints, I sought to capture the fleeting yet timeless dance of light on water and rocky shores. This painting embodies the serene yet dynamic essence of nature, aiming to bring a breath of calm and inspiration into any space it inhabits.
