Biography

My artworks is a way of searching, experimenting and trying to express my ideas and emotions through painting. I don't limit myself to one style or genre: realism and abstraction, subjectivity and symbolism are organically intertwined in my works, which allows me to explore the most diverse facets of visual art.

About myself and creative way
I was born in 1967 in the city of Bugulma (TASSR). From an early age, he was fond of drawing, but he seriously devoted himself to painting only a few years ago. After receiving an engineering degree (Bauman Moscow State Technical University), for a long time I remained only a spectator in love with painting, until 25 years ago I picked up oil paints and began my own path as an artist.
Today, my portfolio includes more than 400 oil and acrylic paintings, some of which are in private collections in Russia and abroad (Germany, Italy, Japan, France, Brazil, China).
Since 2023, I have been a member of the Union of Russian Artists (URA), and since 2024, I have been a member of the Eurasian Art Union (EAU). Participated in numerous exhibitions in Russia (URA, EAU, Moscow Union of Artists, Unique Russia, etc.) and abroad (China, India, Egypt).

The basic philosophy of creativity
My main creative principle is the freedom of artistic search. I'm interested in the research process itself.: how the same idea can be expressed in different techniques, how the perception of reality changes through the prism of abstraction and metaphor. I strive to capture and convey the essence of things — not their external appearance, but the inner content, the "spirit" of an object or phenomenon.
In my works, I explore:
• the connection of man with nature (through landscapes, still lifes, images of the elements);
• The "transience" of time (through the metaphors of water, light, movement, and the universe as a backdrop);
• harmony of opposites (peace and dynamics, chaos and order, reality and fantasy);
• depths of the subconscious (abstract symbolic "mental images", perception and memory).

Key trends and styles
My creative path has gone through several stages:
1. Realistic works — striving for image accuracy, mainly oil landscapes (elaboration of details, compositions, color scheme).
2. Synthesis of realism and abstraction, mixing of other styles — preservation of recognizable images with free interpretation of form and color, semantic emphasis on details or foreshortening.
3. Abstract-symbolic stage — experiments with the representation of sensations, feelings, philosophical ideas through non-objective and symbolic painting, projections of perception, work with various media.

Sources of inspiration
My works are born from:
• observations of nature, city life and "people";
• personal experiences and memories (mental images);
• music (the author is included in the top100 DJs of the popular portal promodj.com ) poetry, architecture;
• Classical painting traditions (while retaining the main influence of Impressionism/post-Impressionism);
• synthesis of artistic trends (expressionism, surrealism, postmodernism and pop art);
• travel and cultural codes of different countries (Oriental aesthetics, European tradition, etc.).

Goals and objectives
I set myself several creative goals.:
1. Metaphorically convey an emotional state through color and shape ("even delight can be different! :)".
2. To show the versatility of reality — from tangible specifics and "fantastic realism" to vague associations of familiar things and phenomena.
3. To make the viewer think, to see the unusual in the ordinary, and the deep meaning in the simple.
4. Create a dialogue between the painting and the viewer, hoping that the viewer considers the author's intention, and everyone will find their own meaning.
5. Explore the boundaries of expressive means of painting, combining tradition and innovation, synthesis of various media to enhance the perception of the idea (+ touch, smell, hearing)

Examples of recent thematic series
Who among us did not dream of being on a desert island or landing on a spaceship on an unknown planet in childhood?!)) Just to see and feel...colors, shapes, sounds, smells..
You don't even have to be an astronaut to see it now - our vast and diverse world is full of secrets, mysteries and beauty...
"Landing" (as it is). The object of research is the organization and shape of space existing in nature ...
"Landing No. 3" opens the series (1 and 2 are left by the author to comprehend the background) with the image of large and cold forms of the planet on which a living ship appeared-an "egg" - a contrasting foreign point - the reference point of landing...
• and the "Pandora's Chronicles" (as it may be) is not so much a reference to a famous science fiction film as a hymn to the mighty force of primordial nature, which, nevertheless, we can lose as a result of destructive cataclysms or human actions. This is an attempt to penetrate into the very harmony and balance of the elements, shapes and colors. Currently, the series includes 9 works (3 in private collections).
The development of the series involves works in the style of "fantastic realism", including elements of the "bionic architecture" of the future.
• "Mental images" — experiments with non-objective painting, where images are born from sensations, music and dreams.
The philosophical basis
My art is an attempt to comprehend a person's connection with the world, to capture the elusive: the fleetness of the moment, the depth of emotion, the rhythm of being. For me, every painting is not an answer, but a question to the viewer.:
• How do you see this world?
• What does beauty mean to you?
• Where is the line between reality and fantasy?

Conclusion
I think my mission as sharing my discoveries, emotions, and reflections with people through painting. My work is an invitation to contemplation, dialogue, and a search for meaning. I am not trying to dictate the "correct" interpretation to the viewer, but rather create a space for personal associations and experiences.
I hope that my paintings will become a source of inspiration for viewers, a reason to smile, reflect, or just stop for a moment and feel the beauty of the world around them. For me, art is a way to slow down time, hear myself and see the miracle in every detail of life.
