The old lake

Among the dense thickets of green forest is an old lake, covered with mud on the coast. In the water, as if in a mirror the blue sky and the tops of high branchy fir trees. In the clearing beyond the lake there is a stack of mown grass. In the foreground of the picture on the edge of the shore are slender birches. Their branches sank over the water. And in the thick grass there are bright flowers. Quiet sunny day on the shore of the old lake.
