Evening after rain

This is a sketch of 2019, a summer so generous with torrential rains ... I decided to finish writing this work, because I did not have time to fully write such a format on location, but I really liked the motive. Yes, and after easel work, a little discharge. And when I was finishing it in the studio, remembering that summer, I kept thinking how we all lived then easily, without problems, restrictions, without fear. I remembered those from which there were only phone numbers in contacts (for some reason I haven’t deleted it yet, as far as I can’t believe it ...) But I’m not talking about sad things! The year was difficult, it was also fruitful, difficult, but encouraging. And I want to wish you, friends, connoisseurs, that you take care of yourself and your loved ones and I wish you all good health in the coming new year and achieve your goals in spite of everything! Holiday greetings! By the way, I painted the place depicted in this picture this summer too, but from a slightly different angle, and that picture was called "Tyoshins Water Lilies". PS: this picture, as well as several sketches of this year, can be seen at a collective exhibition within the walls of the Arzamas Art School named after Stupin from 3 to 9 January.
