July morning

July morning, with light fog,
with welcome coolness in the deep shade.

The sun is not yet tormenting with heat,
like in a hot Russian oven.

The wind is not yet shaking the trees,
It only blows sleepily, a little.

The grass, in the dew, bowed sadly
to the warm, sleepy, native land.
