Cars in the rain

Cars in the rain.
They are clearly chilly, uncomfortable.
Sad at night, sad during the day.
They rust, apparently, every minute.

And people are dry, warm,
corrosion is definitely not available.
They are sometimes tipsy,
they are very lucky in life.

Cars in the rain,
yearn for a simple canopy
or maybe about the garage?

to their present fate, now,
hiding longing under the hood.
