Spring Stream (etude)

Through the low snowdrifts the yellowed last years grass breaks through. The snow has already lost its frosty whiteness. Between the snowdrifts on a low hill runs a thin stream. Behind the hill branched spruce trees, their sharp tops touch the white clouds of the bright spring sky.
