Biography

Born on 28 August 1943 in Turakurgan district of Ferghana region of the Uzbek SSR. In 1961 he graduated from high school in the city of Namangan and entered the specialized art school in Tashkent. After graduation in 1969 he entered the Faculty of Painting of Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in Leningrad, which he graduated from in 1976. Since 1979 he participated in all art exhibitions "Great Volga" until the transition of the Volgograd region in the Southern Federal District. Winner of the Grand Prix of the international competition "Dialog: the color and the line" in the category of art (painting "Winter River"). Winner of the international art exhibition "Victory" dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. (Painting "The Return"). Winner of the All-Russian art exhibition dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Soviet troops in the Battle of Stalingrad (painting "The Return"). A member of the USSR Union of Artists since 1985. He participated in many art exhibitions in southern Russia. Winner of the 1st prize in the competition "My Pushkin" for the painting "Death of the Poet", organized by the regional branch of the Russian Cultural Foundation. In 2008 he was awarded the title of professor of painting and drawing.
