Near the Spas Nereditsa

Summer day in a Russian village near Veliky Novgorod. Equal rows of garden patchwork are cultivated by peasants. Nearby a mown meadow and a haystack. Behind a gray fence under wide branchy trees, the roofs of wooden houses are visible. Far in the high green hills under the clouds of the blue sky are the domes of the Church of the Savior of Nereditsa.
