It was with this place that I wanted to connect this picture.
Palace Square is an unusual place. Not because the Hermitage is standing there, not because it is one of the most popular places for tourists and concerts. Yes, an important detail is in this place - the Aleksanrovskaya column - the largest granite monolith in the world. Its height is 47.5 m, weighing 600 tons. The most amazing thing about her is cast. That is, a column in which there is not a single seam and joint. Now imagine the equipment on which it is possible to make such an implausible sight.
And imagine that this column is located at the intersection of the special meridians of the planet longitude and latitude. This is a place of planetary universal scale, but few people know about it. Yes and not necessarily. Let it remain a landmark for you. The force that is hidden at this point can still be used only by units from a million people.
