Avila, Puerta del Carmen, sunset

The Spanish city of Avila, more precisely, its ancient part, is surrounded by powerful stone walls. On four sides of the walls are stone gates. This gate, Puerta del Carmen, is decorated with such a baroque portal. If you look at this structure from the side, you can see: it is flat. There are many such "architectural excesses" in Castile.
The work is inserted in a dark blue passepartout and a white plastic frame with a sheet of protective plastic. It looks very elegant.
