We had several hours between train and bus. We went to wander around Rome. Checked in at all fountains. We sat at the Trevi fountain for a long time. I watched people. I could not take my eyes off one family: a strong courageous father, a pretty mother, a five-year-old daughter and a teenage girl. For some reason, the teenage girl especially attracted the eye. Her face was thoughtful and serious, and so I wanted to know something about her! Is she the eldest daughter? Or maybe she is a womans sister or niece? Or a daughter from a mans first marriage? There is some inexplicable pleasure in watching strangers who seem so cute. The result of such observations is this picture.
