Trumpeters of Shid (diptych)

Painted on the impressions received during a concert-contest of brass bands in the Serbian city of Shid.
The girls in the foreground dance the Kolo dance, the Serbian version of the round dance.
On the side of the stage, middle-aged women are dancing, and even old women cannot help but dance to the music.
