Biography

Hariton Kuprashvili was born in a city of Tbilisi in a family of professional artists.
Mum - Anna Artemovna – the artist-designer on a fabric list in technicians of a "hot" and
"cold" batik, and also a free list on silk and textiles. The father – Garegin Iosifovich – the
artist who has devoted all life to industrial design and design of dwelling.

studied in Tbilisi art school of J.I.Nikoladze at faculty monumental and
decoration and applied art (chair - an art tree).

After the termination of art school has continued training: skill of a drawing comprehended
under the direction of Bichiko Guluashvili deserved the artist of Georgia, the teacher of
Tbilisi State Art Academy. In painting art it was trained at the National master of painting
of Georgia - Nikolay Andreevich Shilov, artist Denis Nikolayevich Konotop, etc. as which
considers as the teachers.

Painting of the artist differs originality, self-expressiveness, individuality and variety of
genres and styles, such as: painting, a drawing, a portrait, a landscape, a still-life, city
landscapes, thematic pictures, symbolical compositions. Its creative directions - a modernist
style, abstractionism, impressionism, an expressionism, hyperrealism.

In the works Hariton Kuprashvili uses a little actually developed author's the technician
of painting, with application of various materials and technologies of overlaying of many
paint coats a palette knife. According to the artist: «When you work as a palette knife, color
is especially felt. A palette knife – surprising tool giving absolutely unusual color scale and
volume. For beginning artists it is combined enough, but if you seize this technics then you
will feel all taste, pleasure and pleasure from work. Result, believe, that costs».

and salons of a city of Moscow.

Now artist Hariton Kuprashvili lives and works in Moscow.
