Griffin

Griffins are one of the most famous mythical creatures. Griffin is half lion, half eagle. That is, it symbolizes the unity of strength and speed (according to other sources - the mind), earth and sky. Ancient authors also describe griffins as guardians of treasures and mention that in this way they look like dragons. And since precious stones and metals were given a sacred meaning in those days, it was believed that these creatures also guard the path to immortality.
