The road to the temple. Bolshoi Afanasyevsky lane

In perspective, the street looks like the temple of Simeon the Stylite, almost 400 years old, one of the oldest in Moscow. Survived the Moscow fire of the war of 1812, miraculously survived in the 30s of the XX century, but was badly damaged. Restored back in the Soviet era in the 70s.
