Evening over the lake. 1970

The evening sank over the village. Wooden houses, surrounded by tall grass, stand near tall birches. A wide lake stretches beyond the trees. Its banks are covered from all sides by thick thickets of autumn forest. This sketch is made in brown-green tones, and each stroke of paint emphasizes the darkness of the evening above the lake.
