The pond. 1975

The old pond covered wide round lily leaves. On the edge of the pond are high reeds. In the distance, green meadows are seen. And around the thick forest. At the very water, slender, white-browed birches lowered their green curls. A clear blue sky covered by white clouds. A clear summer day. This sketch was created by the Russian artist Mark Kremer in the open air near the pond in Karelia in 1975.
