In contrast to the winter embroidery, here is a Russian village on a sunny spring day! Light green young foliage, lilacs and bird cherry are blooming, a feeling of absolute happiness, like a childhood memory! The image of the village is composite but absolutely typical for Russia.

The embroidery is done on 11-count cotton canvas with cotton floss.
The embroidery is stretched on a stretcher, framed in a wooden baguette and anti-reflective (museum) glass. The baguette in this picture is very special, the carved pattern imitates the carving on the trims of a traditional Russian log house!
