Printing on metal. This is a new, absolutely amazing art production technology! Very thin, lightweight aluminum plate, modern suspension, glossy surface, high wear resistance (for centuries), absolutely not afraid of moisture!!! It just fits perfectly into any modern environment!
Description of the painting: Perhaps everyone knows that still life in French nature morte means "dead nature" ... However, in this sense, I prefer the translation from English - still-life — motionless, frozen, but, nevertheless, life! It was interesting for me to work on the painting from a technical point of view – to work out the details deeply and subtly, peering into the numerous refractions of light and reflections of objects through the glass, to convey the texture of the clay jug and the glare from the window on it, to carefully draw each candy, which has its own peculiarity in color and shape. But there was some dissatisfaction, there was not enough life, dynamics… Then the idea was born to fit a bird into the overall composition – a light creature that is constantly in motion. The choice fell on the Blue Jay, which, with its plumage, harmoniously blended into the environment in color and gave a seemingly modern still life a touch of antiquity, referring us to memories of paintings by old Dutch masters…
