nspired me on the plot to this picture of the legend of Perun and his wife, the goddess of rain and spring - Dodole.
Perun married her and during the wedding Veles liked very much Dodola. While all the gods were having fun at the wedding, Veles alone was in grief and sadness, all looking at her. After the wedding, went down to earth and wandered through the woods there.
After a while, and Dodole wanted to walk on the ground. Veles will see her and turn into a lily of the valley right under the feet of a beauty. I saw Dodola flower, tore it and sniffed it. ..
And after that, nine months later a son, Yarilo, was born to her from the god Veles.
Perun was very upset, of course. …
