Evgeny GAVLIN

Graduated from the graphic arts faculty of the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute, member of the Creative Union of Artists of Russia (painting section).
Participant of many art exhibitions, including:

All-Union Exhibition of Young Artists in the Manezh. 1981;
Art exhibition "Golden Brush" (CHA) -1990, 1998, 1999, 2000;
Seasonal exhibitions in the Manege and the Central House of Artists in the period from 1991 to 2004, and many others.

Evgeny Gavlin's works are in private collections in Russia, France, Great Britain, USA, Germany, China and other countries.

The works of the artist Yevgeny Gavlin are executed in an interesting coloristic manner.
The colors of the canvases are akin to musical works. The artist's landscape is as an excuse to perform a color and light symphony, using the sonority and power of pure color and subtle nuances of tone relations, harmoniously united by the “melody” of color.
The energy of the paintings is enhanced by the corpus (pasty) writing, which the artist achieves perfectly using not only a brush, but also a palette knife.
The works of Evgeny Gavlin carry a positive energy and enable the viewer to immerse themselves in the musical and color environment of the author's works.

The artist lives and works in Moscow. He has finished the Moscow State Pedagogical University (the art-and-graphics department). He is a member of the Russian Union of Artists (the painting section). He has participated in over fifty exhibitions, including two personal ones (2005, 2006). his works are painted in pastous, relief way, intensifying the strength and vibration of colors. The sonority and contrast of color scale are of extreme importance for the artist. His favorite genre is landscape developing impressionism traditions. His works are in private collections in Russia, France, the Creat Britain, the USA, Germany, China, ets.
