Ecce homo

Then Jesus came out wearing a crown of thorns and a scarlet robe. And Pilate said to them: “Behold, Man!” When the high priests and ministers saw Him, they shouted: “Crucify Him, crucify Him!” Pilate says to them: “Take Him and crucify Him; for I find no fault in Him.” The work was done without regard to this plot, imagine my surprise when everything coincided: the roughly woven clothes, the wicker crown of thorns, and the face... the conventional red eye completed the image (here I relied on my favorite work by Fra Angelico “Jesus” in a crown of thorns"). The “woven collage” technique was invented by me for environmental purposes, not to throw away damaged prints and works, but to cut them into strips and... weave. Fortunately, I am familiar with the craft of weaving firsthand.
