Julia - the girl with a pearl earring

Reference - Girl with a Pearl Earring, one of the most famous paintings by the Dutch artist Jan Vermeer. The drawing was made from a photograph. Initially, I was preparing for my personal Photo Exhibition. It was for her that the image of Yulia was created based on the famous painting. To begin with, I created her costume myself, dressed her and filmed her. And only half a year later I decided to paint a portrait from my photograph, but using the grisaille technique.
