Artsakh

Artsakh floating in the sky looks like a mystical sign. He, like an event that scorches the memory, leaves in it an outline, a trace, a reminder — a picture. This work, written by the artist Valentin Podpomogov back in the early 90s of the last century, is a conscious replica of the part of the territory called Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) that was illegally torn away from its ancient native land and donated by the Soviet government to Azerbaijan.
