Biography

Lopatina Olesya is a self represented full time professional artist from Russia, working and living in St.Petersburg. She is making art every day on her studio. All Olesya's paintings are whole worlds that she reveals on canvas with the brushes and paints. Member of the Union of Artists.

Olesya prefer to create paintings in oil with pallete knife. She likes bold strokes and multi-layered painting. An art process is intuitive. It's a conversation She is having with the canvas, color, texture. Some things can't be explain by words, so, Olesya takes a brush.

Olesya have attended many personal and group exhibitions and her works can be found in private collections in: US, Canada, Australia, UK, Spain, Germany, etc.
