Kaganets Tatyana

Biography

Tanya Kaganets is an artist from Chelyabinsk.

In 2009 I graduated from the Art and Pedagogical Institute at the Russian State Pedagogical University in Yekaterinburg.

I've been drawing since my childhood, but I've been positioning myself as an artist since 2018.

All my stories are about feelings, emotions and states of mind. It's like diving deeper in yourself, opening your eyes then diving out and trying to reproduce what I could see there. It’s very important to me to reproduce and conveying meanings without losing aesthetics.

I work in small series, weave realistic images into symbolic compositions.

I participate in exhibitions, fairs and festivals of contemporary art.

Nowadays my works are in private collections in Russia, the USA, Vietnam and Israel.
