Black eyes, passionate eyes,
The eyes are burning and beautiful!
How I love you, how I fear you!
You know, I saw you at an unkind hour!

Oh, it’s not for nothing that your depths are darker!

I see the victorious flame in you:
The vigilant heart was burned on it.
