Early twilight approached

Early twilight approached,
lights lit up in the windows,
years gone by were remembered,
days full of happiness.

With the smell of a fluffy Christmas tree,
with the sparkle of toys on it,
with the mystery of a magical miracle.
Joy come quickly!
