February in the city

February rain gave way to snow:
fluffy, ghostly, like cotton.
From heaven he fell serenely:
beautiful, quiet, no tricks.

And I looked out the window and thought:
how incomprehensible the meaning of the past is.
Gone is the past and forgotten.
It’s a pity, there is no other way forward?!

And how I wanted change.
February gave reason to doubt
in eternal laws, without replacement.
But this can only be a dream!?
