Leon, Cathedral of Santa Maria de Leon from the window of the restaurant El Topo

That day in the Spanish city of Leon snow fell, wet and heavy. Since morning, the snow was on the ankle. Astonished by such a surprise, the young people played snowballs cheerfully.
I was not in high spirits, as I forgot the folding chair, and the city benches stood all in the open, while the wet snow continued to fall.
"I must look for a cafe with windows on the cathedral, there is no other way out!" - I decided.
In the restaurant El Topo (on the corner of the Plaza de Regla and the street of Mariano Dominguez Berrueta) there was just a table by the window through which a side facade with the Portal of the Apocalypse was visible.
The season is by no means a tourist, and in the restaurant the waiter clung to me in such a way that I realized that I would not be able to get off a cup of coffee.
In short… I was painting well-fed and warm, but this study costed me the cost of a lunch in the restaurant plus a portrait-sketch of the waiter.
