This and the next sketches were painted one after another on the fifth of June in Yerevan.
The ancient Orthodox Holy Mother of God the Mighty Church (Surb Zoravor Astvatsatsin) is depicted. The chapel of St. Ananias is visible on the left.
The buildings were founded in the ninth century, but were destroyed by an earthquake. The existing buildings were built in the seventeenth century.
The church is located in the Shahar district of old Yerevan. According to the map, the nearest street is Kazar Parpetsi Street.
