Drobunin Nikolay

Biography

Nikolay Drobunin, born 1983 in Tyumen.
Art historian. Artist and painter.
I've been working with art and painting my entire adult life.
In the early 2000s, he worked at the Regional Museum of Fine Arts as a junior senior staff member. He created an exhibition and led tours of the exhibition halls of Russian classical art and temporary exhibitions.
In 2010, he graduated from the St. Petersburg Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture with a degree in art history.
During his studies, he began drawing.
In 2025, he graduated from the painting department of the Tyumen State Institute of Arts and Culture in the workshop of S. A. Strunnikov.
I paint in the traditions of Russian realist painting and enjoy working in various genres, especially portraiture. I also enjoy painting urban landscapes.
He has participated in regional exhibitions. His works are in private collections.
