Biography
Natalia Balashova is a pastel artist whose creative journey began with realism, laying a solid foundation for her further exploration and experimentation with the unique medium of pastel. She continuously explores new techniques and styles, aiming to reveal the expressive potential of this remarkable medium.
Natalia’s works have been exhibited at international exhibitions and are held in private collections across Russia, Italy, Germany, as well as in the Italian museum at the S’Daniele monastery. Her mentors include Elena Tatkina, Irina Klimova, Olga Abramova, Sergey Usik, and Vicento Romero Redondo.
She is a member of the Professional Artists’ Union and the National Pastelists’ Union. Her paintings have been frequently showcased at exhibitions organized by the National Pastelists’ Union. Natalia won first place in an international pastel competition and actively participates in exhibitions of the independent art collective ASM-club.
