Biography
I was born in 1952 in the city of Kuybyshev, USSR — now known as Samara — and completed my formal art education in Penza, Russia. I am currently a member of the local Artists’ Union in Stupino, where we operate a gallery called Nika. My work has been featured in numerous exhibitions held there, and I’ve participated in over 25 exhibitions throughout my artistic career.
I am also affiliated with an artist organization that regularly acknowledges and supports professional artists across Russia.
Artistically, I seek to blend the traditions of romanticism, impressionism, and realism — often portraying women in delicate, dreamlike settings, dressed in white, holding umbrellas, or captured in moments of elegance and serenity. I also enjoy working on commissioned pieces, particularly portraits.
As for my medium of choice, I work with aquarelle (watercolors), acrylics, and oils.
