Sokolova Tatyana

Biography

I am a self-taught artist, born on March 19, 1958, in Moscow. A member of the Association of Plein Air Artists, I have participated in the association’s plein air events and exhibitions, including the International Exhibition "Bridges of Friendship: Belarus-Russia" in Minsk. My works have been displayed at the Helikon Opera and the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Singing Centre.

I was featured in the 2021 International Exhibition "Art Stories", awarded 2nd place in the 2023 "Golden Time Talent" International Competition, and took part in exhibitions organized by the Creative Union of Professional Artists (2023–2024). My painting was also exhibited at the 2024 International Russian-Iranian Festival "Patterns of Friendship".

I am deeply inspired by nature, its vibrant colors, and diverse forms, which is why landscapes are my favorite genre. While I work with various mediums, I particularly enjoy painting with oils.
