Biography

My name is Garifullina Alina Rinatovna.
The most appropriate name for my style is magical realism. I create paintings with acrylic paints in the technique of multi-layered painting to show the details. My style of magical realism fills the paintings with deep meaning.
I chose this style because the combination of realism and mysticism looks interesting, and I also believe that these plots will be commercially successful, given the trends of the modern art market. In 2022, I moved from Kazan to Moscow to build a career as an artist.
In November 2023, the painting "Fantasy" made it to the finals of Open Calls
"Uncompromising B/W".
At the moment, I am creating a series of paintings "Cats in Hoods", which will be presented at a solo exhibition at the ARTSTORY gallery and the Fineart gallery.
I'm portraying representatives of felines on the verge of extinction. I draw them as children, because during this period they are open to everything new, explore the world with interest and gain wisdom. At this time, animals are especially vulnerable, so each kid has his own talisman that protects him. The hood protects cute animals from negative energy and gives them mystery. The gold embroidery on the hoods symbolizes wealth. The eyes are the mirror of the soul, and that's why I pay attention to drawing them first.
My works dedicated to tigers in the style of hyperrealism reflect the external beauty of animals, remind of the vulnerability of wild animals and attract public attention to the problem of conservation of these species.
