She has a very special feeling about the traditional art of the Russian North, where her father came from and where she spent a lot of time, and in particular Mezen painting.
Julia combines in her works the traditions of the multi-tiered northern ornament, which is based on the worldview of our ancestors about the structure of the World and the Universe, with modern Female images, in which the continuity of mystery, magic, pagan magic of the ancient Slavs is seen.
Also, her admiration has always been for horses. This mix of their strength, vitality and energy with grace and tenderness. They take a leisurely step through all her work.
Continuing on her creative path, Yulia combines art education with design experience, creating paintings and art objects, discovering new forms and opportunities.
